This Privacy Policy explains how SocialsEngine (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our social-media account-management platform, including our SMS notification program.

Information we collect

For each workspace user we store name, email address, and, where the user chooses to receive SMS notifications, a mobile phone number. We also store operational data about the social-media accounts managed in the workspace, such as handles, follower counts, and growth history.

How we use information

Information is used to operate the platform and to send operational notifications to workspace users, including text messages alerting a user when a collaboration request is assigned to them. We do not use this information for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it.

SMS notifications

SMS notifications are strictly opt-in: a user receives texts only after an administrator adds their phone number and the user enables texts on their profile. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. Information may be shared only with service providers (such as our SMS carrier) strictly to deliver these messages, or where required by law.

Data retention & security

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations, and we apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it.
